Committed to honoring everyday narratives, BRILLE illuminates the architecture of communal survival, those small pockets of respite where humor, labor, and ingenuity braid into a brilliant language of resilience.

It rises from shared struggle and laughter, from hands that create without hesitation, from the unspoken knowings of our streets and homes.

In its essence, BRILLE moves like a blessing: may we continue to shine through what we build, what we carry, and the light that we pass on.

A book highlighting the topic of my senior thesis which focuses on the social issue of children facing the dangers of being placed in detention centers.

Interpretation and characterization of the concept of “time” coupled with the social issue topic regarding children in detention centers on the face of a functioning (12 in.) analog clock.

Ordinary Specimens

A fictional exhibit that serves as a tribute to the narrative nature of holding on to things, whether purposefully or obliviously. This could be observed through various methods of containment but we chose the pocket. The pocket is intimate to our bodies, an apendix we carry collecting many small intimate objects along the way.
